Feast of Saint Luke, Evangelist

18th Oct 2021

A missionary doctor performed an operation Luke 10:1-9 and removed cataracts from a man’s eyes. Soon, the man was able to return to his home rejoicing in his restored eyesight. A few weeks later the missionaries at the hospital saw the man coming back down the road toward them. But this time he was holding a rope to which forty other blind people were clinging. He was bringing them to the place where his sight had been restored.

Dearly beloved, when did you last lead someone to Christ? If you are a committed disciple of Christ, you will take evangelization very seriously.

Jesus, my Saviour, as I go out today, help me to proclaimthe goodness of your name. Help us to work together as believers to canvass our families, villages, towns, cities, nations with Your gospel. Amen.
