Up In a Thee Like Zacchaeus?

Luke 19:1-10

I want to ask you this morning: Are you up in a tree? Sin can make us feel this way. Guilt and shame can make us feel as if there is no hope. Our past poor choices and negative opinions of others can make us feel worthless.

“Zacchaeus,” Jesus says to us, “come down” here right now. That’s not who you are. That’s not your place. You are greatly loved by God. Are you still stuck up in a tree? Jesus is still calling for you to come to him.

Dear Jesus, thank you for the amazing love and grace You have bestowed upon me. Transform and help me to be like You! Amen.
