Matthew 23:27-32

IS HE TALKING ABOUT US?

“You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean.” Is Jesus talking about us as well? How much of your life is merely white wash; a religious cover for the nightmare that rages within? Are you not tired of outward holiness without inward transformation? Now is the time to open our graves and allow to be washed white by the blood of Jesus.

Lord Jesus have mercy on me and deliver me completely from my Phariseeism. Transform me from deep within my heart that my outward and inward life may glorify your name. Amen.
