Gulu Ecclesiastical Province Organizes Mass at Naggulu Parish
GULU ECCLESIASTICAL PROVINCE ORGANIZES MASS AT NAGURU PARISH
Gulu Ecclesiastical Province that covers the dioceses of Gulu, Arua, Nebbi, and Lira (GANAL) recently on the 5th of June 2022 organized its annual Kampala mass for Christians who hail from the four northern Ugandan dioceses. GANAL celebrated its 15th Annual Ecclesiastical Provincial thanksgiving mass at St. Jude Naguru Parish in Kampala on Pentecost Sunday under theme: “COME HOLY SPIRIT.”
Presiding over mass, the Bishop of Lira Diocese, His Lordship Wanok Sanctus Lino was grateful for the Lord for calming down the storm of COVID-19 and requested the congregation to keep their faith burning brightly. Likewise the Archbishop of Gulu, His Grace John Baptist Odama welcomed the congregation, and he reminded the Congregation that the Holy Spirit was sent to guide and God’s people the teachings of Christ. He encouraged the Congregation to live in the spirit; and to ask and share the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Other dignitaries present at the GANAL gathering included; the Member of Parliament for the Elderly in the North and also Chairperson of GANAL Honorable Akumu Catherine Mavenjina; the Bishop of Arua Diocese-Rt. Rev Sabino Ocan, the Bishop of Nebbi Catholic diocese the Rt. Rev. Raphael P’mony Wokorach and Bishop Emeritus of Lira Rt. Rev.Joseph Franzelli.
