He emphasized that Being priests, is not their own decision and it is not their own priesthood but the priesthood of Christ Jesus, and the Entire church of God.

“Dear brothers, Handle this Priesthood with Ultimate Care and Humility, for it is not yours, but for Christ and the Priesthood for the church”, Said Archbishop Ssemogerere.

He reminded them that people of God love  And enjoy priesthood, a reason why they have supported priests right from seminary formation and even after being ordained. The people continue supporting them in all ways,  thus asking newly Ordained Priests and Deacons to love the people and serve them with confidence which they share to them when they support them, additionally to the Royal priesthood and strength they have been given by Christ the chief priests.
