Two Nuns killed in south Sudan Ambush

It was sombre mood today as the Catholic Church received very frightening news about the death of the Catholic religious Sisters who had died in an ambush in Southern Sudan.

The deceased were identified as Sr Mary Aboud who had been the Mother superior for 12years, Sr Regina and the other only identified as Leone who was burnt into ashes in the car they were traveling in. Other two unidentified people also died on spot to make the number to five.

These were attacked by unknown gun men while they were traveling from Loa Parish in Torit Diocese Eastern Equatoria Province in South Sudan as they were going for the Loa Parish Centenary celebrations.

We condole with family, friends and the Church about these sad news and pray that the souls of the deceased Rest In Peace.

  • Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I am very glad to see such great info being shared freely out there.

  • Aw, this was an extremely good post. Taking the time and actual effort to produce a great article횜 but what can I say횜 I hesitate a lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.

  • Hi there, just became aware of your blog through Google, and found that it’s truly informative. I am going to watch out for brussels. I will be grateful if you continue this in future. A lot of people will be benefited from your writing. Cheers!

  • Hiya, I am really glad I have found this info. Today bloggers publish only about gossips and internet and this is really irritating. A good web site with interesting content, that is what I need. Thanks for keeping this web-site, I’ll be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can not find it.

  • Utterly written content material, appreciate it for selective information. “The last time I saw him he was walking down Lover’s Lane holding his own hand.” by Fred Allen.

  • The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
