Rev. Fr. Joachim Nganda CSC Ordained a Priest in Gulu

Congratulations Rev. Fr. Joachim Nganda, CSC, has been ordained today 28th January 2024 at St. Andre Bessette Holy Cross Parish in Koch Goma, Gulu Archdiocese by His grace John Baptist Odama Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese.

Fr. Joachim hails from Holy Trinity Parish, Musaalani, within the Machakos Diocese in Kenya.

His educational journey includes attending Musalaani Primary School from 2000 to 2008 and Kisasi Secondary School from 2009 to 2012. His pursuit of philosophy led him to the Queen of Apostles Philosophy Centre in Jinja from 2014 to 2017 and later to Tangaza University College in Nairobi from 2018 to 2022.

Fr. Joachim’s formation and vowed life have been marked by dedicated periods at various institutions. He underwent formation at Andre House of Formation in Jinja from 2014 to 2017, followed by the Holy Cross Novitiate in Saaka from 2017 to 2018. He took his first vows on July 16, 2018, and continued his formation at the McCauley Formation House in Nairobi from 2018 to 2022. His pastoral year was spent at Holy Cross Parish Bugembe from 2022 to 2023 before moving to Kigoma Parish in 2023, where he presently serves. Fr. Joachim took his final vows on August 30, 2023, and was ordained as a deacon on August 31, 2023
