Archbishop Raphael Wokorach Announces New Appointments in Archdiocese of Gulu

Gulu, Uganda :Archbishop Raphael P’mony Wokorach has announced new appointments in the Archdiocese of Gulu, effective immediately.

In a letter dated November 21, 2024, Archbishop Wokorach expressed his gratitude to the clergy and lay faithful for their suggestions and advice, which he carefully considered before making the appointments.

The new appointments include:

Archbishop Wokorach wished the new appointees a successful ministry and expressed his confidence in their abilities to serve the Archdiocese.

The Archbishop also announced that he plans to make more appointments before the end of the year, focusing on strengthening Small Christian Communities and strategies for self-reliance.

Archbishop Wokorach concluded his letter by entrusting the clergy and lay faithful to the care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, St. Daniel Comboni, and other patron saints.

The Archdiocese of Gulu is expected to continue its mission of evangelization, education, and revitalization under the leadership of Archbishop Wokorach.

“We shall reflect together on how to refine our strategies for evangelization and self-reliance,” Archbishop Wokorach said. “I urge you, the clergy, to be open to the Spirit of the Lord whenever He guides me to you.” He emphasized.
