Kasese, Uganda – The Bishop of Kasese Diocese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, has officially opened Kinyaminagha Roman Catholic Church in Kitabu Parish as a Eucharistic Center.

During the ceremony, Bishop Kibira also promoted six catechists to Eucharistic ministers, tasking them with spreading the Gospel and promoting the values of Christ.

In his homily during the Holy Mass, where 167 Christians were confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Kibira urged Christians to emulate Christ by living a life free from envy, hatred, and conflicts.

“As children of the resurrection in the sacrament of Eucharist, we should actively participate in spreading the Gospel and completing Christ’s mission on earth,” Bishop Kibira said.

He also called on Christians to seek the intercession of Mother Mary in their daily lives.

Meanwhile, Mr. Robert Baluku, Principal of the Uganda Wildlife Research and Training Centre (UWRTI), encouraged parents and guardians to prioritize the education of their children.

The ceremony was attended by Christians from various parishes in Kasese Diocese.
