Mbarara Archdiocese Mourns Passing of Rev. Fr. Agapitus Mubangizi

The Most Rev. Lambert Bainomugisha, Archbishop of Mbarara, has announced with profound sorrow the passing of Rev. Fr. Agapitus Mubangizi, who died on April 14, 2025, at Rugarama Hospital in Kabale.

The funeral mass for Fr. Mubangizi will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral in Nyamitanga. All who knew and loved Fr. Mubangizi are warmly invited to attend and celebrate his life while offering prayers for the peaceful repose of his soul.

Fr. Mukasa Balikudembe, Diocesan Chancellor, extends the invitation to the faithful and the community to join in paying their respects to the deceased priest.
