Luke 21:12-19

Do not give up when you are persecuted because because you trying to be faithful to Jesus Christ. Do not give up even when you have fallen in sin. Don’t wallow. Get up and get back in the fight. Do not give up because you are still far from your goals. Don’t give up when waiting on God seems endless. Whether you are facing your darkest hour or going through a “small” trial, don’t give up. As you persevere, the Lord will walk with you all the way to victory.

Dear Jesus, give me the strength I need to stand firm in my faith. Fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit on the inside, so I can persevere on the outside. Amen.
