JESUS IS SOVEREIGN LORD

Memorial of Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr

Matthew 21:23-27

Neither Satan, nor viruses, nor bacteria, nor human authorities are sovereign in this world. Jesus is. He possesses authority according to His deity along with the Father and the Spirit.

Jesus was – always has been, always will be – God! The question to ask perhaps is: Will you accept his Authority and Lordship in your life? Is there any area of your life where you are reluctant to let Jesus rule and reign?

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you have all authority. Help me to live more and more each day under your Lordship, yielding to your will and doing your work here on earth for your glory. Amen.
