Ten Aspirants Received by the Good Samaritan Sisters (Nalukolongo Sisters)

Ten young women were on the 22nd of February received as “Aspirants” of the Good Samaritan Sisters in Kampala.

The Good Samaritan Sisters popularly known as the Nalukolongo Sisters were founded by the late Archbishop of Kampala, Cardinal Emmanuel Nsubuga to take love and to take care of needy.

The Aspirants undergo a one-year formation program where they learn about the charism of the Good Samaritan Sisters; learn about the vows of Poverty, Obedience, and Chastity; and also try out the ministerial work of the Good Samaritan Sisters.

It takes four years for one to complete the initial formation that leads to making the first profession of vows. The mass of reception was celebrated by Fr. Stephen Mayanja the Assistant Rubaga Cathedral Administrator. Pray for the Aspirants on their journey of formation!
