Diocese of Jinja opens up a new parish along Iganga Bugiri Road just at Namayemba.

Opening of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe Catholic Parish- Namayemba in pictures.

Fr. Emmanuel Baganzi has been appointed as the pioneer Parish Priest.

The Parish now comprises of Budibya, Bugeso, Bukonde, Bukuta, Isagaza, Kigulu, Kamango, Kamiratumbu, Nabirere, Naigoma, Nakabale, Naluwerere, Nambo, Namasere, Namayemba and Wanenga Sub centers.

Notably , one couple has been wedded,they are Mr Owere Julius and Ms . Nekesa Mary who now become Mr and Mrs Owere.There were also candidates who received the sacrament of confirmation.
