Prayer for the month of June

God our loving Father, we come before you with hearts filled with gratitude and thanksgiving for the new Month of June. We thank you for the gift of our Martyrs of Uganda who inspire us with their bravery, unwavering faith, and steadfast commitment to you and above all, for bearing witness to the Gospel, even in the face of persecution and martyrdom. They inspire us to live our faith boldly and to remain faithful to your teachings. May our country Uganda, and the whole world be inspired and renewed by their prayer.

We commit the Holy Father Pope Francis to your fatherly care and the motherly hands of Mary that he may find support and strength at this time of his physical ailment. With the Pope, we also invoke your heavenly intervention for the abolition of torture.
We pray that the international community may commit in a concrete way to ensuring the abolition of torture and guaranteeing support to victims and their families. Lord Jesus, help us to support and guide young couples, so that they may embrace the sacrament of marriage with joy, understanding, and commitment. May their love be a reflection of your love for the Church, and may their families become witnesses to your presence and grace.
We make our prayer through Christ in the name of the Blessed Trinity, One God forever and ever.
