19 Lovely Couples Wedded in Katoosa Deanery

Kyarusozi: On Saturday 13th January 2024, a massive group of 19 couples were Wedded and sealed their marriage commitment in Katoosa Deanery, Fort Portal Diocese. This happened during the Conclusion of a week long retreat of the Fort Portal Diocese Cana Catholic movement, that brings together all married couples in the Diocese.

Holy mass and celebrations were led by Rev. Fr. James Burasa, CSC. In his message delivering his homily, he asked couples to befriend and stay connected physically and spiritually to the Holy Rosary in their Marriages. He emphasized that they need to trust in the intercession of Mother Mary as they walk their journey of married Life.

Of the 19 couples who tied their knot, 13 were from Kyarusozi the hosting parish and others from various parishes that make up the Deanery.
