30 Bicycles given to the Parish Youth Leaders of Gulu Archdiocese

30 bicycles where today handed over to the youth leaders from different parishes within the arch dioceses of Gulu.

The bicycles which were bought from donation of CUORE AMICO ITALY and handed over to the youth leaders by Monsignor Odong on behalf of the Arch bishop today from holy rosary parish.

Bicycles handed over to the Youths

Monsignor challenged the youth that they are the future of the church, adding that they must make good use of the bicycles more especially in evangelization, he said gifts are always given out of love therefore to reward the donor, the gift should not be misused , he also promised to reward any parish with another bicycle provided they maintain the one given well.

James Odong youth vice chair person from Layibi parish said the bicycle will help them in mobilization and coordinating different activities within the parish, meanwhile Christopher Opiro youth chair person Amuru parish said the hard challenge of transport, the bicycle has come at the right time.

Ms Joyce Zako the National youth coordinator thanked the donor for the support given the office of the youth in Gulu archdiocese. she also acknowledge the love and spiritual guidance to young people from the Arch bishop and the priests from different parishes within the Gulu arch diocese besides they are the image of Christ.

Youth chaplain Rev Fr David Okello Opiro curate holy rosary thanked the donors and encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the bicycle.

Each parish received at least one bicycle including Kitgum mission, Layibi parish, Poranga parish, Awach parish among others.
