Father Richard Arthur Muwonge has passed away

Death Announcement and Obituary.

The Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Kampala, Uganda His Grace Paul Ssemogerere on a sad note announces the death of Rev. Fr. Richard Arthur Muwonge who has been serving as a parish priest at Katende Catholic parish Kampala archdiocese .

According to the official letter signed by Fr. Pius Male Ssentumbwe the chancellor of the archdiocese, Fr. Richard died earlier in the morning today 8th June 2023 at Rubaga Hospital where he has been admitted for treatment .

The Archbishop informs the Bishops, priests , religious and all people of God about this sad occurance and shares his condolences and sympathy with the family members of the late priest Fr. Muwonge.

Official Programme for his requiem and send off is as follows; today evening at 4pm, the body will be arriving at Katende parish for the vigil mass.

Tomorrow 9th June, burial mass will begin at 12:00 Up to 2pm when he will be laid to rest.
