Bishop Kibira Ordains 2 New priests and 3 Deacon’s In Kasese.
Kiburara, Kasese: The Bishop Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has today ordained two Deacons to Priesthood and three Seminarians to Deaconate, with a call for unity among priests.
Two newly ordained priests include, Rev. Fr. Modesto Bwambale from Nyakahya Catholic Parish and Rev. Fr. Loti Maate from Kyalhumba Parish whereas Deacons include, Rev. Deacon Fredrick Masereka from Kasanga, Rev. Deacon Moris Thembo Muduha from Kasese Parish and Rev. Deacon Adenus Mumbere from Kakone Parish.

In his Homily presiding over Holy Mass at St. John the Evangelist Minor Seminary-Kiburara, Bishop Kibira who said a priest is chosen by God among people to act as the light and show them the right way to Christ called for need of unity and brotherhood among Priests saying a priest who does not work together with others act contrary to the will of God.
Bishop Kibira urged priests to be true vine that will bear good fruits and be productive towards the spiritual and physical development of the Church of Christ as well as extending God’s love to his people.

Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabyanga, the state Ministry for National Guidance asked Christians in the diocese of Kasese to pray and support Bishop Kibira whom he described as God given shepherd to people of Kasese whose was sent to transform the diocese in all aspects of development.
The Ordinand’s Parents representative Mr. Blasio Kambere, a father to Rev. Fr. Loti asked the newly ordained priests to live an exemplary life with integrity as well as fulfilling the promises made before the alter of Christ.Rev. Fr. Loti Maate who commended the almighty for making their dream come true asked Christians and religious leaders to continue praying for them as they start a new journey in life.
Kasese Chairperson LCV, Mr. Erafaz Muhindi commended the Bishop for his initiative of starting priests medical insurance fund.
The Mass was attended by various dignitaries including, Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku the Bishop South Rwenzori Diocese, political, civil and church leaders among others.

The Bishop appointed Rev Fr. Loti Maate curate Kasese Parish and Rev. Fr. Modesto Bwambale, Curate Kasanga Parish with reporting date on 31st July 2023.
