A 72year Old makes her 12th Foot Pilgrimage to Namugongo

Hagata Nyinabutagwiira aged 72years from Kanyamukale Catholic Parish, Diocese of Fort portal is excited to start her 12th foot pilgrimage.

She has done a foot pilgrimage for 11years and this years pilgrimage is her 12th year, taking her foot journey to the Martyrs Shrine for the Glory and intercession of the Holy Martyrs of Uganda.

Through the intercession of the Holy Martyrs, she has harvested abundant blessings and more importantly, the gift of life and the faith. Her family has got peace because of the annual pilgrimage she makes , and she uses it to offer her prayers.

“I have always walked under the protection of the Blood of the Martyrs, a gift of faith which has become a source of blessings and strength to me and my family” Hagata Narrated

She continued and prayed, that may the Holy Martyrs give her and other pilgrims, the strength to finalize the journey, thus calling upon all pilgrims to not only offer time to walk, but also use it as a chance to offer their needs and pray for their entire family members through the Martyrs of Uganda, to pray for peace and unity.
