A Triduum of Prayer for an act of Reparation kick starts in Kampala Archdiocese

A Triduum of Prayer for an act of Reparation kick starts in Kampala Archdiocese

Christians from all over Kampala Archdiocese have joined the Archbishop’s call for a Triduum of Prayer for an act of Reparation.

This came after robbers Vandalized the Chapel at Nswanjere Junior Seminary, stealing some property and injuring Fr. Emmanuel Mukukule plus Bro. John Bosco Mwaasa.

During the incidence, the Tabernacle was unfortunately deconsecrated and because of this act of Violation, the Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere on Monday 20th 2023 summoned all people of God to this act of Reparation in an official document released by the Chancellor of Kampala Archdiocese.

The Parishes within Kampala Archdiocese have set up public information indicating the time for the Triduum of Prayer from 21st – 23rd March 2023.

Some of the Parishes with available information;

  1. At Lubaga Cathedral the Prayer starts at exactly 4:00pm daily from 21st – 23rd March.

2. Our Lady of Africa Mbuya Parish, Prayer starts at 5:30pm daily.

3. Christ the King Parish Kampala, Prayer starts at 4:00pm – 5:00pm daily.

4. Munyonyo Martyrs Shrine, Prayer starts at 6:30pm to 8pm daily.

All these under the intention : “Praying for Healing, Repentance and Restitution of God’s Glory following the vandalization and deconsecration of the Tabernacle at Nswanjere Junior Seminary”.
