Bishop Kambale Lauds Caritas-Uganda for Empowering Kasese Families.

Kasese, Uganda – Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, Ordinary of Kasese Diocese, has praised Caritas-Uganda for equipping families with modern farming skills to boost food production.
Bishop Kambale made these remarks during the end-of-year evaluation meeting held at UHURU 50 gardens in Kasese town. He commended Caritas-Kasese’s monitoring and evaluation efforts, particularly in training beneficiaries on post-harvest handling best practices.
The prelate urged Caritas-Kasese to design projects involving Rev. Sisters, leveraging their understanding of community challenges.
Rev. Fr. Denis Ocanda, Deputy National Director of Caritas-Uganda, emphasized the need for a sustainability plan post-funding.
Msgr. Landaus Bwambale, Vicar General of Kasese Diocese, called for practical application of acquired skills to enhance production and productivity.
Caritas-Uganda’s collaboration with Kasese Diocese has yielded positive results. Continued cooperation will foster long-term food security and sustainable livelihoods for local families.
Rev. Fr. Ocanda noted that the program is progressing well in the Diocese of Kasese.
