Daily Catholic Prayer, April 2023
Almighty and ever-loving God, We turn to you in humble praise and thanksgiving. We are grateful for your graces that have sustained us this far.
We are contrite for the many times we have followed our wild desires while rejecting your holy will. May our country experience a flourishing of honesty as a fruit of the bodily discipline of lent. May our leaders use their offices to accomplish that which is for the common good instead of seeking selfish ends. We also pray for the spread of peace and non-violence, by decreasing the use of weapons by States and citizens across the globe.
We make our prayer through the intercession of our holy mother, Mary, and the martyrs of Uganda to Christ and the Father in unity with the Holy Spirit. Amen
