DO NOT TEMPT ANY ONE TO SIN
8th Nov 2021
Luke 17:1-6
“Things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the person through whom they occur. It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea .. ” Jesus wants us to understand the seriousness of causing temptations for others. For example, we need to be considerate in our dress because immodesty is a problem today and the sin of
lust is running rampant. We need to watch what we say and how we act. Do we think God is pleased when we ruin the faith of another?
O my Jesus, give me the grace and strength to keep me from falling into temptations. Help me not be the cause of temptation and sin in the lives of others. Amen.
