WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS

Jesus describes the final Judgment as based on our kindness towards others. “I was hungry and you fed me,thirsty and you gave mea drink … Whenever you did this to the least ofmy brethren, you did it for me.”

When you help those in need, you are helping Jesus and he will reward you. When you help others, your life starts to have meaning and feels fertile with possibilities.

One way to attract happiness is to help someone out. God has blessed us that we might be a blessing to others. We rise by lifting others, and we eventually fall when we push others down.

Grant, O Lord Jesus, that we, too, may give ourselves entirely without reserve to the love and service of others like Saint Maximilian Kolbe. Amen.
