ARE YOU ACKNOWLEDGING JESUS OR DENYING HIM?

16th October 2021

Luke 12:8-12

“I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of angels of God. But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God”

To acknowledge Jesus before people is to be open and honest about our total life commitment to him. We must live our lives completely for Jesus. If we live for Jesus like this, then when we stand in judgment, Jesus will claim us. Acknowledging or denying Jesus? Where are you in your heart of heart?

Lord Jesus, let the fire of your Holy Spirit burn in my heart and fill me with a consuming love for you. Help me to remain faithful always to my Baptismal promises. Give me the strength that I may strive each day to live my faith out loud. Amen.
