Daily Reflection Saturday 17th July 2021

“A bruised reed he will not break, a smouldering wick he will not quench.” In our sin, rebellion, and pain, Jesus has not come to condemn but to save, not to discard but to redeem. Think of the demon possessed who Jesus healed.

The paralyzed, the woman who wiped Jesus’ feet with her tears, the woman caught in adultery, the lepers etc.Those who were broken down by life received tenderness and compassion from Jesus. In the eyes of the world, we may be broken; however, in the eyes of Jesus we are not beyond repair. Jesus can uncover our hidden pain and bring healing to our lives.
