PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE LORD

luke 3: 1-6


“Prepare a way for the Lord, make his paths straight! Let every valley be filled in, every mountain and hill be levelled ….


Obviously, in order to prepare for the Lord, we must deal with our sin. God knows what is going on in our lives. Any one covering up their sinful activities are not hiding anything from Him. For the Lord to feel welcome in our hearts, we must deal honestly with our sins. Are you proud? Have you cheated? Have you told a lie? Have you … ? Get clean.


Dear Jesus, let nothing stand in the way of your presence in my life. Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me. May I always be prepared to receive you. Amen.
