THE TRUE FAMILY OF JESUS

Mt 12:46-50

“Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” The only people who will not be a part of Jesus’ family are those who have excluded themselves from doing the will of God. And the will of God is that we live holy lives. Are you living to please God? You can’t do this perfectly, but is that what you’re living for?If so, you are part of Jesus Christ’s family. If not, then let us repent and start living according to God’s design. Jesus did not primarily call individuals into a private relationship with him. He calls us into discipleship, to become part of a new family.

Heavenly Father, don’t let my desires blind me to your will. Help me to live a holy life. Father, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
