HOW DETERMINED ARE YOU

Luke 9:51-56

“Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.” Jesus was resolute in going to Jerusalem, even though he knew what that journey would ultimately cost him.

Are we determined to follow Jesus Christ regardless of the cost? Are we determined to serve him even if friends make fun of us, even if we must give up some “favourite” sin?

How determined are you to succeed at your goals? The strength of your determination is + what will move you towards your end-goal.

Lord Jesus, today I pray for determination. Grant me the determination to resist sin. Give me strength and determination to stand firm in my endeavors. Grant me the strength to outlast my trials and give me the determination Lord to move on. Amen
