FEELING DISCOURAGED?
TAKE IT TO THE LORD

Luke 7:18-23

If ever John the Baptist experienced discouragement, it was during the event of his arrest and imprisonment. This was the low point of his ministry the day in which he entertained doubts about the Messiah. What we learn from him is that he made recourse to the Lord. So, if you are battling discouragement, turn it over to the Lord in prayer. In pain, take it to the Lord. In loneliness and frustrations, take it to the Lord. When faced with pressures of life, take it to the Lord. Just tell Jesus everything.

Dear Jesus, I refuse to dwell in tents of discouragement. I pray for the spirit of perseverance and the grace to never give up my faith in you. Amen.
