STAY COMMITTED TO JESUS NO MATTER WHAT

John 19:25-27

“Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala …. ” These were Jesus’ committed friends. Even on the Cross, they still weren’t going anywhere. I wonder how near the cross we would have stood?

Obviously being near the cross is not a matter of geography but of spiritual position [special relationship with Jesus]. We are called to abide with Jesus. No matter how tough life gets, stay with Jesus. +

Lord Jesus, I pray that I may be solely and wholly committed to my walk with you all the days of my life. I pray that my faith in you may grow stronger and my zeal for you may grow bigger. Never let me be separated from you. Amen.
