In proclaiming the Kingdom of God, Jesus goes freely to his death. He encounters men who reject his massage and who eventually put him to death. They are not only the ones responsible, however, since,in certain sense all of every age are to blame for the death of Jesus.” Through his wounds we are healed” says the prophet Isaiah of the suffering Servant. ( Is 53:5).
