It was a joyful day at the Covent of Good Samaritan Sisters Buloba, Mityana Road as the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese officially opened up a new health facility St. Veronica Medical Center.
This was conducted today 4th May 2023 at the health premises.
During his speech, the Archbishop of Kampala His Grace Paul Ssemogerere , thanked all stakeholders for making the hospital open to treat everyone in the community.
He promised to the people of Buloba and neighboring that the hospital is well equiped with qualified staff and all required hospital equipments.
He concluded by attributing all the works to the late Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga for the projects he left in progress within the Archdiocese.
Sr John Mugisha, the Superior General appreciated the Good Samaritan Sisters for all the good they have done for the people. She indicated sofar 5 mothers have delivered from the Medical Center while over 150 patients have sofar been treated from the hospital.

She concluded by thanking His Grace Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere for attending, different stakeholders who supported the works of constructing the hospital and all People of Buloba for the good work done.
Rev. Fr. Ssembogga Paul, the Parish Priest of Buloba Parish thanked the Medical Center staff(Sisters) for treating people but also called upon the people to come for treatment at the facility and further appreciated them for the Care to the Elderly.He pledged support to the medical center both spiritually, socially and financially.

Hon. Matia Lwanga Bwanika the District LC5 thanked the Hospital Administration for bringing such a religious medical center within his District he leads.Hon. Matia affirmed to the Administrators that the local Government will work in hand with them to improve on the health status of the people in the area.
He also gave a cash envelope of 500.000 to acquire a hospital bed which help the people of Buloba.
