Gulu Archdiocese welcomes New Parish with Joy.

Christians in Gulu Archdiocese today were filled with joy as they welcomed a new Parish.

Holy Cross Jubilee Parish was today erected by the Archbishop of Gulu,Most Rev. Dr. John Baptist Odama who also installed Rev. Fr. David Okello Opiro as the first Parish priest.

Holy Cross Parish was curved out of Holy Rosary Parish in Gulu City.

Meanwhile Fr. Opiro was the first curate of Holy Rosary Parish and Director Radio Maria Gulu Substation.

The creation of this Parish now adds up the the total parishes in Gulu Archdiocese to 33.

The next parish to be erected this year is Koch-goma Parish in Nwoya district on 28th January 2024.
