Arua Diocese has today released an official programme for the Funeral until the send off of the departed Rev. Fr. Kizito Yandu as presented below:

Today, Tuesday, 23/5/2023 at 2:00 pm, there was Requiem Mass at Our Lady and St .Jude Naguru Parish, Kampala. Thereafter the body will leave for Arua City – Arua Diocese.

On Wednesday, 24/5/2023, at 7:00 am; the body is expected to arrive and will be received at St. Daniel Comboni Youth Centre, Ediofe, Arua.

At 8:00 am, there shall be a Requiem Mass at St. Daniel Comboni Youth Centre; thereafter paying of respects shall go on at 4:00 pm: The body will then proceed to Ediofe Cathedral, Arua Diocese for the Requiem Mass at Ediofe Cathedral at 5:00pm, followed by an overnight vigil.

On Thursday, 25/5/2023, at 7:00 am, will be the Office of the Dead (Morning Prayers) by Priests and Religious at Ediofe Cathedral a moment that will be accompanied by Requiem Mass at Ediofe Cathedral at 10am. By 12:00 noon, the body will leave for Oriajini Catholic Parish with stopover at Ariepi Chapel. Then at 2:00 pm, the body arrives and is received at Oriajini Catholic Parish Centre.

On Friday 26/5/2023, at 10:00 am, there shall be his final burial Mass presided over by Rt. Rev. Sanctus Lino Wanok (Ordinary Bishop of Lira Diocese) at Oriajini Catholic Parish.

Rev. Fr. Kizito Yandu now the late has also been an executive member of Ugandan Catholics Online serving as the National Director. As UCO executives, we shall miss him among us especially his courageous and humble words.
