Kampala Archdiocese celebrates World Social Communications Day in style

Kampala Archdiocese celebrates 58th Social Communications Day.

The Archdiocese of Kampala , Uganda has today Celebrated the 58th Worlds Social Communications Day.

The Celebrations Led by the Retired Apostolic Nuncio to Belgium H. E Augustine Kasujja took place at Our Lady Of Good Counsel, Gayaza Catholic Parish , Wakiso Vicariate Under Kampala archdiocese, began with the Liturgical Celebration of the Holy Mass at 10 Am.

During the Mass as H. E Archbishop Augustine Kasujja was delivering his Homily, he encouraged the communicators and Catholic Journalist who were also part of this celebration, to Use the Technology as a tool to fight for rights, defend life and respect for every human being , and also advocating for Peace in the Nation Using the Word of God.

The 58th World’s Communications Day in Kampala for the 2024, was marked with various sessions , inclusively the Launching of Kampala Archdiocese Journalists Association, Awarding of Certificates to the Outgoing Executive Committee Members of the Kampala Archdiocese Social Communicators and Finally Swearing in of the Newly Elected Leaders of the Social Communicators in the Archdiocese to begin their new Term.
