Kasana Cathedral Parish Celebrates Silver Jubilee

Christians of Luweero-Kasana Our lady of Fatima , Queen of Peace Cathedral Parish have celebrated twenty five years of existence,since it’s inception. Leading mass,was the presiding head, Reverand Monsignor Francis Xavier Mpanga along with several other clergy at the Luweero, Our Lady Of Fatima Cathedral,on Friday,13th May, the day of Our Lady Of Fatima.

In his homily, Monsignor Francis requested the Christians to pray against the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine to come to an end. He also appreciated the parents who fulfil the role of fully educating their children.Monsignor however, condemned the act of child labour.

The function was graced by former Ambassador of Uganda to Sudan, Hon. James Kinobe as the Guest of Honour, Luweero Woman MP, Hon.Brenda Nabukenya, MP Baamunaanika-Hon.Robert Ssekitoleko and other dignitaries.

The Ambassador congratulated the people and called upon the next leaders to build from what they have found inorder to reach the Golden Jubilee.”Some people reach success, but they fail to maintain it”,he said.

The Woman MP, also conquered with the Monsignor regarding education,she went on,” education is the most valuable thing you could ever give to your child”,On the other hand, Hon.Ssekitooleko requested the public to only trust in God.

The guests were then treated to a sumptous meal and entertainment.
