Kasana Luweero Diocese intensifies preparations ahead of National Caritas Week in 2023
Kasana Luweero Diocese on Monday 19th December 2022 held a fundraising dinner at Serena Hotel in preparation to benefit the 13th National Caritas Week to be celebrated in 2023.
During the Dinner Monsignor Francis Xavier Mpanga the Administrator of Kasana Luweero Diocese encouraged all people of good will to support the Diocese in preparation for the celebration.
A total of 72million Shillings was raised at Serena to meet the estimated budget of Uganda Shillings 1,079,415,297/=.
Kasana Luweero Diocese was chosen to host the 13th National Caritas week and celebration of Caritas Uganda Golden Jubilee scheduled for tuesday March 28th 2023 to Palm Sunday April 2nd 2023 under the theme “anyone who doesn’t work shall not eat”. While the National dialogue theme will be ”Enhancing Family economic security through value addition”.
