Kasana Luweero Diocese sets date for Episcopal Ordination of the newly appointed Bishop, Core committee appointed

The Diocesan administrator of Kasana Luweero Diocese Msgr. Francis Xavier Mpanga has appointed the core committee to spearhead the preparations for the Episcopal Ordination of the third Bishop of the Diocese Msgr Mukasa Lawrence.

Below are the members of the appointed committee members and there roles respectively:

Fr. Joseph Kakooza Nyanzi as the chairperson.

Mr.Ssebudde Joseph as first vice chairperson

Mr .Wesige Andrew as the second vice chairperson.

Mr.Ssemukaya Leonard as the Secretary.

Mr.Musisi Erasmus as the Treasurer.

Ms.Nansamba Agnes in church for security.

Mr.Kyomya Vincent as the chairperson publicity sub committee.

Fr.Dr. Kimbowa Lawrence as chairperson for protocol sub committee.

Mr.Lwevuze Joseph as chairperson for Catering sub committee.

Mr.Mpiima John Baptist as chairperson for sanitation and Health sub committee.

Fr.Kavuma Joseph Mary as chairperson for Construction sub committee.

Fr.Ssemakula Achilles as chairperson for Liturgy sub committee.

Mrs. Sserwanja Maria as chairperson for Entertainment sub committee.

Mrs.Bbosa Florence Sekitoleko, Mrs.Kigundu Sarah and Mr. Buwembo John as committee members.

Speaking on behalf of the core committee, Fr. Joseph Kakooza Nyanzi has called upon all christians, people of Good will, companies, civil society organizations, schools and hospitals to actively support the preparations.

The Episcopal Ordination of Msgr Lawrence Mukasa will take place on 5th .08. 2023 at The Diocesan Cathedral grounds.

Over 10,000 christians, Religious, Cultural and Government Dignitaries are expected to Grace the ceremony.
