Kasese diocese hosts Mbarara archdiocese Bishops annual meeting

Kyalhumba, Kasese: Bishops from the Five Dioceses that make up the Archdiocese of Mbarara, also known as MEPA (Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province Association) are on their annual pastoral visit, this time hosted In Kasese Catholic Diocese.
Archdiocese of Mbarara is made up of five dioceses namely: Mbarara archdiocese, Kasese , Hoima , Kabale and Fort Portal Catholic Dioceses led by Bishops: His Grace Lambert Bainomugisha – Archbishop of the Archdiocese, Host His Lordship Francis Aquirinus Kibira of Kasese, Vincent Kirabo Amooti of Hoima , Callist Rubaramira of Kabale and Bishop Robert Muhiirwa of Fort Portal.

Their arrival in Kasese yesterday was a joyous moment where the Hosting Bishop and the organizing team welcomed them with warm hugs and handshakes.


Today on the feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, they jointly gathered with crowds and celebrated Mass at Holy Trinity Parish Kyalhumba , in the diocese of Kasese.

Their annual visitations within their dioceses served a special way and gives them a moment to reflect on the development within their dioceses, annual strategic plans and the daily spiritual growth of the people they lead, among other specific aims and objectives . This year, it will run from 30th April to 3rd May 2025.
Keep them in prayer as they take up these responsibilities and their safe travels when the meetings are done, on Sunday.
