National CCR Leaders, Elder and Historical pioneer teams reunite

Earlier today at Emmaus Center Katikamu; The National Catholic Charismatic Renewal Spiritual Center in Uganda, the Elders, Historical former leaders and current leadership teams of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal at the NST gathered for a reunion and Retreat.

The gathering and retreat of the spiritual inspirational leadership teams and old Diocesan leaders of the CCR all over the country Was also intended and based on reawakening minds upon the Forthcoming mega event of the celebration of the 50 years since the Catholic Charismatic Renewal was founded in Uganda on spiritual values of enhancing and use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Catholic Church.

During this retreat and gathering, the teams especially the elder founders and leaders shared views on history from since it’s foundation, humble beginnings, the gradual successes and growth , challenges of the the time, the love and passion they had, how the renewal extended all across the country sourcing it’s roots from the first few pioneers to now, over one million members today.

The leaders also discussed on issues concerning the future of the CCR, actually beyond the 50 years they’re celebrating this year and laid plans and sketches on how it shall look like in glory within the Catholic Church in Uganda.

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) is set and preparing to celebrate a golden Jubilee (50 faithful years) of it’s existence in Uganda from 30th June upto 6th July 2024 at Uganda Martyrs’ Shrine , Namugongo in Kampala city of Uganda facilitated by Renewal Ministries and other faithful People of Good will.
