One Priest, Two Deacons Ordained in Arua Diocese

Today marked yet another joyful day in the Diocese of Arua as Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki ordained Rev Fr Ronald Alionzi of Comboni Missionaries, Deacon Gabriel Angela from Moroto Diocese, Deacon Inacio Manuel Mutatapuele from Nampula Archdiocese, Mozambique at Holy Cross Parish Ombaci.

Rt Reverend Bishop. Sabino Ochani Odoki has asked the Ordinands to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ while they serve the faithful. “Jesus is the only example of evangelization” the Bishop said. He further thanked the Comboni Missionaries for the work they have done in Arua Diocese and urged the Ordinands to nourish the Christians with all sacraments and to keep the people of God United.

The Ordinands have also appealed for full support from the faithful as well as the prayers inorder for them to undertake Christ’s mission ahead.

Mass was celebrated scientifically and the Bishop has continued to request Christians to observe the S.O.Ps but also asked government to open up the places of worship.
