Prayer For The Deceased

Merciful Father you who said that I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me, will never die.

During this Covid 19 pandemic situation, very many grandfathers, grand mothers, fathers, mothers, men and women, many young people children inclusive, many religious men and women, politicians, medical personnel, people from all walks of life have died!!

Lord you said that there are many rooms in your Father’s house, and that you want all the faithful to be where you are to see your glory.

Lord you said that where two or three gather in my name, there am I in their midst, here we are kneeling before you as the nation of Uganda, requesting to have mercy on all those who have died of Covid 19. Wipe away their iniquity, purify them from their sins, raise them up on the last day, and grant them life eternal. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
