PRAYER TO PASS EXAMS

A student’s prayer to Saint Joseph of Cupertino for success in examinations.

If you are on this page, then you must be a student or know someone else who is a student and is about taking an exam. This is for you then. This miraculous prayer implores the intercession of st Joseph of Cupertino for easy and successful examination. I

Saint Joseph is the patron saint of students and test-taking. But you see, he was not always the “bright kid” as you already are assuming. Ironically, as a child, he was seen more or less as a slow and dull child. He could barely construct a simple sentence when writing or speaking. Despite studying hard, he still performed poorly in school and even his mother spited him for this. 

But his life took a mysterious turn after he had gone to the seminary and it was time to take the last exam before he could be made a priest. He, knowing that he could not make it on his own, prayed fervently to God that the questions he would be asked would be something he had great knowledge of. Amazingly, the examiners asked him a question from the only bible verse he knew perfectly well and this was how he was ordained a priest. 

Of course, God filled him with graces and powers which enabled him to work miracles. So you see, as a student, you should be greatly confident in saint Joseph knowing that he was also in your shoes while on earth and will surely not abandon you. Say this prayer:“O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant that I may like you, succeed in the (here mention the name of Examination) examination. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.
O St. Joseph of Cupertino, pray for me.
O Holy Ghost, enlighten me.
Our Lady of Good Studies, pray for me.
Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me. Amen”
