Saint Andrew’s Biikira Health Center IV holds an OPD Block fundraising Dinner

Previously, on Sunday 4th February 2024 last Weekend, the St. Andrew’s Health Center IV that is situated in Biikira Catholic Parish Masaka Diocese held a Fundraising dinner for the Construction of a New Out – Patients Department (OPD) block.

The Dinner was opened with a Holy sacrifice of Mass at 10am led by Rev. Fr. Kateregga Stephen.

Fr. Kateregga Stephen asked Christians emphasizing on Charity work especially helping the poor and needy whenever they can. He also called upon the parishioners and guests to place hands of help in supporting the construction of the OPD block with a reason that it is for their own good health because it’s where they will run to, in time of sickness to get health care.

At this Fundraising dinner, in attendance was the Area Woman Member of Parliament Hon. Fortunate Nantongo who pledged 2 million shillings escorted by other Members of Parliament representing other areas and they pledges one million Uganda shillings, each in support of this health care project.

The guest of Honor at this particular dinner Maria Nakaweesi the CEO of maria’s cargo supported with 100 Millions Uganda shillings and promised to donate most necessary medical equipments in this OPD , after shipping them from China.

In a Concluding speech, Rev. Fr. Joseph Kamoga the board chairman joyfully recognized all the guests in attendance and their dignitaries and applauded to them all for a generous supportive heart towards the Biikira Health Center IV.
