Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix Ggogonya celebrate Religious Professions
Kampala – The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix Ggogonya, held a joyous celebration to mark various religious professions, themed “I am consecrated to work with others to bring the Good News to the poor and marginalized” (Luke 4:18).
Archbishop Augustine Kasujja was the main celebrant at the event, which honored eight Sisters who made their Perpetual Vows.
Additionally, the occasion recognized Sisters reaching significant milestones in their service, including:
– 2 Sisters celebrating 25 years of service (Silver Jubilee)
– 6 Sisters marking 50 years (Golden Jubilee)
– 4 Sisters commemorating 60 years (Diamond Jubilee)
The celebration was also graced by Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere and Bishop Joseph Antony Zziwa, who joined in honoring the dedication and commitment of the Sisters.
