ST. AMBROSE KIBUUKA KATIKAMU PROFILE

His father, Kisuule, was an official King’s drummer of Mujaguzo. His father had many wives and about 30 children almost all girls.

Kibuuka was taken to the palace to be a page at sixteen years of age. He was social, talented in games, music and always cheerful and charitable. He would work on and on hardly showing any tiredness. When the Christians were arrested, his friend Kigongo went to inform his parents of the arrest.

He was burnt to death at Namugongo on June 3, 1886.

He is Patron of societies and youth movement such as scouts, Y.C.W., Xaverians, and so on
