Ten Profess First Vows In the Congregation Of Holy Cross

Ten young men professed their first vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross today the 16th July. The profession of vows took place at the Holy Cross Novitiate, Lake Saaka in Fort Portal.
Drawn from the three East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, their vows were received by Reverend Father Cyprian Binaka, CSC, the Superior of the Congregation of Holy Cross in East Africa.
Preaching on the call of Samuel in the bible, Fr Binaka highlighted how at the call of Samuel, visions and messages from God were rare then. Fr Binaka noted that just as Samuel was called to bring the vision and the message of God to the Israelites, so are the ten newly professed being called to bring the message of God to the world.
The ten newly professed were:

Brother Francis Asaba, CSC, from Hoima diocese
Philbert Mugabe, CSC, from Fort Portal diocese
Richard Birungi Sekasanke, CSC, from Hoima diocese
Victor Akampa, CSC, from Mbarara Archdiocese
Andrew Ajuna, CSC, from Fort Portal diocese
Deus Tayebwa, CSC, from Hoima diocese
Paul Kilian Bajuta, CSC, from Mbulu diocese
Issack Makere, CSC from Sumbawanga diocese in Tanzania
Noah Masiga, CSC from Bungoma Kenya.

The ten newly professed will continue with their religious and academic formation in Nairobi Kenya.
