Two Priests and Seven Deacons Ordained in Kasana-Luwero Diocese

Today the Diocese of Kasana-Luweero under the leadership of Bishop Paul Ssemogerere ordained two Priests and Seven Deacons.

Delivering His Homily the Bishop of Kasana Luwero who doubles as the Apostolic Administrator of Kampala Archdiocese has asked the Ordinands to follow the example of Jesus the good Shepherd. He appealed to them to perform their duties with due diligence and always seek for advice from the elders and senior priests. He asked Christians not to look at Priests as a source of Money because they also don’t have any income.Bishop Ssemogerere thanked Fr Paul Nyombi who has been with the Ordinands for the week in the retreat.

Present at the Ordination were Honorable Minister J.C Miyingo and the Rt Hon Prime Minister Nabbanja, the Bishop thanked them for the tremendous work they have done for Ordination to take place.

In his own words the Bishop also appealed to the Government to open up Places of Worship for Christians to come closer to God but also for other Church services to be extended to communities.The Ordinands also thanked the Lord for the Grace he has shown them throughout their journey and prayed for more Divinities as they do the work of the Lord.
